On behalf of the Bangladesh Medical Physics Society (BMPS), it is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 13th Annual Conference of the Bangladesh Medical Physics Society (ACBMPS 2026), to be held on 4 December 2026 at the Krishibid Institution Bangladesh, Khamarbari, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
This year’s conference, themed “Safe Radiation, Stronger Nation,” reflects our shared commitment to advancing the safe, effective, and innovative use of radiation in healthcare for the benefit of our patients and society.
ACBMPS is the flagship annual scientific congress of BMPS, bringing together medical physicists, radiation oncologists, radiologists, nuclear medicine physicians, radiation technologists, engineers, researchers, educators, students, policymakers, and industry partners. The conference provides a valuable platform to exchange scientific knowledge, share clinical experiences, discuss emerging technologies, and strengthen professional collaboration both nationally and internationally.
Medical physics in Bangladesh continues to evolve, particularly in radiation oncology, diagnostic imaging, and nuclear medicine. As our profession grows, enhancing education, research, clinical excellence, and quality assurance remains essential. Through ACBMPS 2026, we aim to foster meaningful discussions, encourage innovation, and build partnerships that will contribute to improving patient care and advancing medical physics across the region.
